Abante Asesores has announced the names of the star managers it has picked for its new fund of funds, aiming to assemble the best and brightest managers in Spain.
The Spanish advisory firm’s Smart ISH is a form of ‘best of the best’ fund. It will include a maximum of 20 funds from Spain-domiciled managers which the firm considers the top and most promising stars in the country’s asset management industry.
The firm’s CIO Angel Olea told Citywire that while the fund’s main focus is on the equity sector, the managers’ strategies vary with some operating a flexible multi asset fund and others running a pure equity fund.
