WITH THIS TRANSACTION, GPC STRENGTHENS ITS STRATEGIC POSITION IN THE AFTERMARKET MARKET IN SPAIN.

Recambios Ochoa is a leading Galician company specializing in the distribution of automotive components in the northwest of the Iberian Peninsula. With decades of experience, the company has distinguished itself through its operational excellence and extensive logistical network, establishing itself as a trusted partner for the automotive parts sector in the region.

Genuine Parts Company (GPC) is a US multinational listed on the S&P 500 and a world leader in the distribution of automotive and industrial replacement parts, with a network spanning North America, Europe, and Australasia. The acquisition was executed through its European subsidiary, Alliance Automotive Group (AAG), the vehicle through which the group implements its expansion strategy in the Iberian Peninsula.

With this transaction, GPC/AAG strengthens its position in the Spanish aftermarket, a sector undergoing global consolidation in which Spain has become a strategic market for major international groups. Meanwhile, the owners of Recambios Ochoa ensure the continuity and growth of their family business, which is integrated into a global distribution network.

Solventis led the financial advice for the transaction, consolidating its position as a leading advisor in the aftermarket sector in the Iberian Peninsula, after having also advised on the sale of the Recalvi Group and the Portuguese companies Bomboleo and Iberoturbo.
